Allegory of Spring-Inspiration Avenue Challenge

This is a portrait of Chloris, the Goddess of Flowers and the Three Graces.  (Charm, Beauty, and Creativity).  Which one do you most identify with?

By the way, my work is now part of the Ontological Museum's Centennial Collection.

Here is collage for this week's Collage Obsessions Challenge.  What do you find at the end of the rainbow?

Fun Day!

I got really excited by the freebies that I received today.  Cajoline offered six sets of Easter graphics for making things like tags.     I am amazed by all the free images on the internet.  A digital scrapbooker can find a lifetime of stuff!  I think I'll try making another set of tags.  I don't exactly know what the tags are used for but here's an example of a mini-collage I put on a set about Mermaids.

Collage Obsessions Theme-Hands

The title of this collage is Talk To the Hand.  Who hasn't felt like saying just that?

Altered Egos-Transformation Mixed Media Collage

The original framed 16" x 20" image has been submitted to the International Collage Museum for their Centennial Show (1912-2012).  It was a lot of work to prepare the work and submit it.  My husband, Tracy, was a tremendous help.

Tangerine Tango

This week's Collage Obsession challenge was to use this vibrant orange in a collage.  While taking a break from my "Altered Ego" work, I made this.  As a redhead, orange was always something I steered away from.  I guess I don't have to follow those rules anymore.  Hey, maybe I can even wear white shoes after Labor Day.  The sky's the limit!
